This database contains the recordings of one male Catalan professional speaker recorded in a noise-reduced room simultaneously through a close talk microphone, a mid distance microphone and a laryngograph signal. This database consists in the recordings and annotations of read text material of approximately 10 hours of speech for baseline applications (Text-to-Speech systems). The FESTCAT Catalan TTS Baseline Male Speech Database was created within the scope of the FESTCAT project, funded by the Catalan Government.

Cette base de données comprend les enregistrements d’un locuteur professionnel homme du catalan dans une salle à bruit réduit réalisés simultanément via un microphone “close talk”, un microphone à moyenne distance et un signal laryngographique. Elle consiste en des enregistrements et annotations de matériel textuel lu pour environ 10 heures de parole pour des applications de référence (systèmes texte-parole). La voix d'homme de référence TTS du projet FESTCAT catalan a été créée dans le cadre du projet FESTCAT, financé par le gouvernement catalan.
